Live music after a long time of contact-free improvising
I am very much looking forward to performing improvised live music this upcoming Sunday in Berlin. I am quite excited about it. Will my playing have changed over the last months from all those contact-free long-distance improvs? Will I go about playing differently? Will I possibly be more aware of the fact, that the other players need enough space, too? Will I enjoy the chance to directly push and pull my fellow musicians’ reactions, to provoke their reactions?
I will definitely enjoy the aspect of shared responsibility for the evolving piece.
What is your experience?
