Free Improvisation in 360° – a Live-Surround-Performance in Movement
We are happy to be supported by Musikfonds e.V. for our endeavour to bring the idea of the 360° videos back to a live concert situation.
We are currently exploring the possiblities to improvise in a setting whith the audience in the middle of the concert space – sitting on stools, being able to turn around and deliberately change direction of view and listening. The three musicians play on an outer circle, having some fixed positions where also electronic devices are installed such as loopers, sound effects, wavedrum (drum synthesizer). At times they will leave these positions, move along on the outer circle, playing with the effects of closeness and distance.
